Modest Boudoir Photography: For the Rest of Us! Whisper your Sexy; Don’t Scream It!

If you’ve never had one of these sessions, it’s very understandable as to why you would be hesitant, especially if you don’t know what to expect.

The first step you should take is to find a photographer that you are comfortable around. Do you prefer a female or a male photographer?

Then go through their portfolio of boudoir work. Is this photographer’s style something that you would be comfortable with or is the photographer willing to let you “Whisper your Sexy” instead of “Screaming it Out Loud.”

Your session should leave you with the self-esteem boost that most of us need. I’m going to share with you a few images that might make you think twice about a Boudoir Session. The following photographs were all taken in a studio

Beach Boudoir

These are a few photos that photographers took in their studios, but how do you feel about the beach? “OH!, NO WAY!,” you say? If you are fortunate enough to live near a very coastline (or other body of water, a large lake would work, a running stream of water would also work) where you can find any of these areas that are not very heavily populated, they make some of the best locations for this type of photography. That doesn’t mean that I’m asking you to “Scream your Sexy” at the beach, but you can get some extremely “Whisper your Sexy” portraits at the beach, or near a body of water, especially in the evening as the sun is setting!
